Twenty-eight-year-old Noor waited over seven years to finally undergo her breast augmentation. “I’m almost thirty, and I feel like I’m deserving of this now,” Noor said. Procedure Details

Dr. Barrett made a tiny periareolar incision for minimal scarring, then created a pocket above the muscle for a natural, tear-drop shape. Unlike many other doctors, Dr. Barrett sits the patient up during surgery before inserting the permanent implant to check for symmetry and pocket creation to adjust the implant size accordingly. If the appearance of the breasts is not symmetrical and ideal, the patient will never be locked in with a specific implant size. For Noor, on-table sizing was the cherry on top for her procedure; Dr. Barrett noticed that she needed differential sizing to make her chest symmetrical and had to place two slightly different-sized implants for perfect symmetry. This attention to detail guaranteed a natural-looking final result.
