Breast Lift
Breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to raise and reshape breasts that have lost their firmness and elasticity, returning them to a more youthful, lifted state. It is extremely common for breast firmness to change over time, and a breast lift is an instant confidence boost for many.
Is a Breast Lift right for you?

A breast lift is an excellent choice for patients seeking lifted, perky breasts. Factors like aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuation, or genetic predisposition can cause skin elasticity to relax, causing the breasts to change shape and lose firmness. A breast lift procedure involves removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue for a more youthful, uplifted appearance.
A breast lift primarily addresses sagging breasts and does not add or remove significant volume. It is very common, however, to combine a breast lift with other procedures such as breast augmentation with implants, fat transfer to breasts, or reduction to achieve the desired shape and still lift the breasts.
Benefits

Before surgery
A patient care concierge will guide you through the entire consultation process, which can be attended in person or virtually. During the consultation, your surgeon will learn about your goals, answer any questions, and perform an examination to create a personalized surgical plan. This will include choosing incision locations, deciding if a combination procedure is suggested, and more. You will then be matched with a surgical coordinator who will walk you through each step of the preoperative process.
During surgery
Incisions are made according to the surgical plan created during your consultation, which varies based on the goals and whether the breast lift will be combined with another procedure.
Breast lift incision techniques include:
After surgery
It is normal to experience soreness and swelling for the first two weeks following your breast revision. Pain relievers and cold compresses are typically used to ease these side effects during the early phase of the recovery process. You are encouraged to wait two weeks before returning to light activities and work and wait six weeks for physical exercise.
Your surgeon will provide specific instructions for optimal post-operative care, including an advanced scar management protocol after the initial healing period. Your surgical team is always available and will closely monitor your recovery in the weeks and months following surgery.
